The Big Syn Institute is delighted to announce the Grand Jury of the 2021 Big Syn International Film Festival. An array of global luminaries from film, media, sustainability and policy comprise the Grand Jury and will select the winners this October.
Being the biggest event of its kind, the Big Syn International Film Festival is a beacon of hope that educates millions around the world about the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and inspires people to act on those in their own, small of big ways, all through the power of relatable films, animations and documentaries. Hence, it is ever so very important that cinematically brilliant but equally meaningful messages, that can create positive change, are recognised and celebrated via the festival. The Grand Jury aids accomplishing this very purpose and helps promote the event across the world.
So far, the festival has educated over 2.5 M people in 60+ countries about the United Nations Sustainable Development goals, and more importantly what we all can do to act on those goals.

Entries are open until 30th September 2021. Official selections will be screened online and winners will be declared between 24th – 31st October 2021.
