BIG SYN SUSTAINABILITY MEDIA AWARDS

Big Syn Sustainability Media Awards recognise and celebrate media organisations and their creative work that upholds and furthers sustainability and the UN’s Global Goals.

JUDGING PROCESS AND ENTRY CATEGORIES

The Grand Jury comprised of leaders from media, films, sustainability and academia will select the winners from a shortlist of nominees nominated for their sustainability-standing as organisations and relevant creative works.

The awards also consider nominations put forward by members of the industry or members of public. If you wish to nominate an organisation or their creative work, please contact us with relevant details.

For the organisations to pursue their awards nomination, they may be asked to provide further details (if need be), other than what is available from public sources. 

ORGANISATIONAL 

Multiple awards for excellence and the highest standards of ethical conduct, integrity and civic and social responsibility
1. Sustainability Icon: 360 degrees sustainable products, services and practices.
2. Inclusion and Diversity Champion: Championing inclusion and diversity in particular
3. Sustainability Innovation Champion: Sustainable innovations or adaptations for products, services or operations

CREATIVE

Sustainability Creative Champions: Multiple awards for sustainability campaigns and content (print, broadcast, outdoor, internet) on one or more of the following aspects of sustainability.

Climate Action. Peace & Justice. Migration. Inequality. Inclusion & Diversity. Discrimination.
Marine Life. Life On Land. Biodiversity. Gender Equality. Mental Health.

AWARDS CEREMONY

The nominees of the media awards will be invited at the gala awards to maximise opportunities to network, gain visibility and celebrate in style. The awards night will felicitate all the winners and would be an excellent opportunity to meet peers as well as film and media celebrities, press and TV, leaders from sustainability and policy, HNW & UHNW individuals, members of the government, leading businesses, and corporate decision makers.
