Category: Press release | Date: August 24, 2020 | By: Big Syn Institute, London. UK.

The selection committee of the Big Syn International Film Festival has declared a shortlist of films, animations  and documentaries as nominees for the People’s Choice Awards. These films  or the trailers are visible on the bigyn.org website and are now open for public voting until 31st October 2020.

Multiple people’s choice awards will be declared based on public votes.

This diverse array of meaningful films are invaluable tools for people to see films that portray one or more UNSDGs for people to better relate those to their own lives and communities around them. This experience is expected to help people realise the importance of their actions in meeting the UNSDGs to ensure a thriving future for themselves and others. Without such a realisation, real action to meet the goals cannot be expected from the civic society.

The talented filmmakers are inviting supporters and general members of public to come and view these films, read about their motivation to make these films and understand the significance of the stories for their lives and the wider world in general.

If you want to view these films and vote for them, you can do that here.
